How to play MewMallow.

The first session is designed to teach the loop directly inside the game. This page explains the same systems in plain language so you can return to it whenever you need a refresher.

1. Choose and name your starter cat

A new save begins with a choice of starter cats. After choosing one, you can give that individual cat a custom name. Names can be changed again later, so there is no penalty for changing your mind.

2. Let the café serve customers

While you are actively playing, café service is automated. Customers are served on a timer and Café Coins are collected automatically. This keeps the home screen calm: you do not need to tap every customer or repeatedly collect coin bubbles.

Café Coins are primarily used for normal café progression and shop items. Mew Coin is a separate currency used for systems such as gacha. The two currencies have different purposes so that decorating and collecting can be balanced independently.

3. Level up the café

Your café gains level progress through play. New levels unlock additional content and provide rewards. The tutorial gives enough early support to reach Café Level 2 and see the basic progression loop without requiring a long grind.

4. Use the first free gacha pull

During the tutorial, the game guides you to the actual Gacha page rather than showing a fake tutorial-only result. The first tutorial pull is free and uses the real gacha presentation. This gives you a second cat and teaches how the collection system works.

Outside the tutorial, Cat Gacha and Cosmetic Gacha use Mew Coin. A ten-pull includes a Rare-or-higher guarantee in its final slot. Duplicate cats are converted into Café Coins rather than creating multiple copies of the same cat entry.

5. Put cats in the home café

The home café can display two owned cats. A cat profile opened from the home screen includes an option to change the cat assigned to that position. The same cat cannot occupy both home slots at once.

6. Build friendship

Friendship has five heart levels. Playing mini games with cats registered to the home café contributes friendship progress. Higher ranks unlock cosmetic profile presentation rewards. Reaching the fifth heart marks that cat as a Best Friend and unlocks an exclusive set of profile decorations.

7. Decorate the café

Furniture is placed in left and right slots. You can use two items from the same category, but the exact same furniture item cannot occupy both slots simultaneously. Backgrounds can be changed separately. Normal furniture appears through the shop or café-level rewards.

8. Dress up cats

Hats and outfits are visual overlays aligned to the cat artwork. Dress-up changes appearance only. It does not modify café earnings, friendship gains, or mini-game performance.

9. Play Pâtisserie MEW

This mini game uses a 4×4 board. Matching dessert tiles merge into the next level. New tiles are usually Level 1, with a smaller chance of Level 2. Your score increases as you merge. Creating the Level 8 dessert earns a one-time Mew Coin bonus during that game.

10. Play MEW STACK

MEW STACK is controlled with a single tap or click. A moving block travels across the screen; your goal is to drop it onto the tower below. Better alignment creates a more stable stack. Each placed level adds score, while especially accurate drops receive a PERFECT bonus.

11. Saving your progress

Normal game progress is stored in your browser using local storage. Clearing browser site data can remove that local save. Premium entitlement is handled separately: a successful premium purchase generates a restore code that can be used to reconnect the cosmetic bundle in another browser.
